Naomi's fact or unchangeable label was widow. Based on her perception that God had dealt bitterly with her, she obviously said untruths to her soul that caused her to mislabel herself. It was as if she chose her own fate.

What was Naomi's truthful faith label according to Ruth 4:14 -15?

Ruth 4:14-15 (New International Version)

14 The women said to Naomi: “Praise be to the LORD, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel! 15 He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. For your daughter-in-law, who loves you and who is better to you than seven sons, has given him birth.”

    God was faithful and had provided this blessing out of her tragedy.

    God had not left her like He said in His Word...I will never leave you or forsake you. She was worthy of a guardian/protector and someone to redeem her out of the misery she felt she was in. A renewed life and someone to sustain her in her old age! She was also loved immensely by her daughter in law and is better than seven sons!
