  1. There have been so many times that its hard to pinpoint just one. I have to go back to the experience that I shared yesterday. When I needed the lifeline of His Word, and His Truths, He never let me go! When I would bask in 2 Tim 1:7 that says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind", I knew I could stand on that truth! I would replace the "us" with "me" to make it personal, like He wrote it just for me. I also love Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust you and whose thoughts are fixed on you". When my thoughts are "fixed" on Him, I can be at peace. Amen!

  2. I am not a fearful person. Rarely do I struggle with being afraid. But alot of times I feel so alone in my family about the things that I "care" about. I really don't even have a friend that is very much like me. I feel alone alot in the things that I care about. So I remember His truth that says "Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you." One time that I do remember struggling with fear is when each of my kids started driving. I would be startled every time the phone rang and my heart would beat out of my chest. Or Every time I heard a siren and they were not home with me. I had to really practice "Taking my thoughts captive" and replacing them with. Philippians 4:8 Whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise think on these things. And then I would stand on the promise that "The God of Peace would be with me."
