Question #1 Nov. 10, 2010

In a post write on your thought closet doors your"What If" temptations to worry on one. Then on the other write the corresponding "What Is" --the truth from God's Word-- that can fill your meditations instead.

  1. What If:
We were unable to work and pay our bills
Something happened to my husband or one of my kids/grandson
He doesn't seek God and walk with Him

    What Is:
    God's word is true
He has promised to supply of our needs
He has promised to never leave us or forsake us
He has always provided everything we need

  2. What if:
One of my kids crashed their car.
Or what if my kids turn forever from the Lord.

    What Is:
God has promised to never leave us or forsake us.
He has promised to work ALL things out for the good. He has promised to be like the Father in the prodigal son and be forgiving and accept them when they come to their senses.
Also in His Word it says that the Word wont return Void, and we have planted the Word in the hearts of our kids.
He also says in Philippians 1:6 that He is faithful to complete the good work He begun in us.

    What if i am unloveable?
What if we cant pay our bills?

God says He loves me with an everlasting love.
God says He will provide for all my needs.
