Psalm 32:5 (New International Version, ©2010)

 5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you
   and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess
   my transgressions to the LORD.”
And you forgave
   the guilt of my sin.

Psalm 38:18 (New International Version, ©2010)

18 I confess my iniquity;
   I am troubled by my sin.

Psalm 39:1 (New International Version, ©2010)

Psalm 39   For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David.

 1 I said, “I will watch my ways
   and keep my tongue from sin;
I will put a muzzle on my mouth
   while in the presence of the wicked.”

 3 For I know my transgressions,
   and my sin is always before me

  1. Psalm 32:5-If you are feeling guilty about your sin, the prescription is to acknowledge it by confessing it to the LORD.
    Psalm 38:18-If you are troubled by your sin the prescription is to confess it.
    Psalm 39:1-Say to myself...I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin by mentally putting a muzzle on my mouth and not joining in on the conversations of the wicked.
    Psalm 51:3-Who are we kidding, we know what we are doing. We know when we are sinning.

    I will say to myself....I know my sins Lord, I will confess them and acknowledge them before You. Father, I know there is no one else in this world that can take away the guilt I feel for all the wrongs I have done, so I come to YOU!
