Question #6

Your prayer is most effective when you are spiritually alert to your own weakness and the Enemy's schemes.

Jesus could have said, "Pay attention and speak truth to your soul, lest you fall into temptation." But He didn't. Being alert to the Enemy and telling yourself the truth is imperative, but it isn't the same as "be alert and pray." Sin is tempting, and the Enemy knows it well! Do you?

Seriously, do you recognize your temptation trouble spots?
  • Yes
  • No
  • Never thought about it

Take a moment to consider your response. If you said "no" or "never thought about it," then think about it!

What are your temptation trouble spots?

  1. I do recognize my temptation trouble spots, but I also know that the enemy can "sneak" in and disguise a temptation or sin and I need to be constantly alert to this.

  2. Yes, I do know my trouble spots. I am vulnerable when I am tired, and too busy to be in the Word.
