Speak that truth to your soul right now. Tuck it away into your thought closet. Now pray Psalm 139:23-24. Ask the Holy Spirit to search you and show you if what you usually say to your soul about your sin is truth.

I usually come to the conclusion quickly that I am sinning in my thoughts and I always ask the Lord to help me to be victorious over those sins. Sometimes I have been victorious quickly and other times it has taken more time. But I always have a honest dialogue with God about the sin because I KNOW He knows anyway, so why try to hide it. I figure the only way to overcome the sin is to ask for His help because I have seen what a mess I can make of things on my own in my pre-Christian days.
ReplyDeleteI usually recognize when I have sinned....there is that check in my spirit that tells me...But I don't always listen....that stubborn will and rebellious spirit that I fight sometimes wins.
